“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (Gal 1:3). This will be my twenty-first year of teaching spending seventeen years teaching middle grade math and three years teaching business courses at a high school level in public education. During this time, I earned my doctorate in educational leadership from Wilmington University. I hold a master’s in business administration, bachelor’s in engineering, and an associate’s in engineering technology. I have a very diversified field of experience in the private sector ranging from the chemical field, automotive, metal fabrication, and web-offset printing, including control systems development for the respective equipment. I also served in the US Navy as a missile radar fire control technician aboard the USS Belknap CG-26 guided missile cruiser. Here is where I can bring the daily use of math into our children’s lives from these experiences.

I am a life-long Catholic attending the Church of the Holy Cross in Dover, DE. I received my first communion, confirmation, was an altar server, and married here. My wife, Lisa, and I have been married forty years with three grown children and three grandchildren. Outside of school I coached fastpitch softball, baseball, and soccer, also leading scouts. In each of these areas I also attained various leadership roles to help children grow. I assisted the poor with the food bank, working at the Dover men’s shelter providing meals, and prison ministries at the Vaughn Correctional Center Smyrna, DE. For our children at Church, I taught four years in 7th grade CCD and assisted the CCD ministry while my children were receiving their religious education. Additionally, I am an Extra-Ordinary Eucharistic Minister. Furthermore, I am currently in the Deacon Formation Aspirant II ministry for the Diocese of Wilmington praying for ordination in 2029 to conduct Christ’ service to others and their wellbeing. Lastly, I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan (E-A-G-L-E-S, Go Eagles!) and like to watch college football.
