I proudly served 13 years in the United States Army, including one tour in Afghanistan. After my military service, I began my journey in education with a year of experience as a paraeducator at Lansdowne Senior High School, followed by a long-term substitute position teaching 10th grade English at Kent County High School.
I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Secondary Education – English from the Community College of Baltimore County and a Bachelor's degree in English with a Minor in Education from Washington College.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and playing video games. I bring discipline, dedication, and a deep respect for the past to my teaching, always aiming to help students grow into thoughtful, informed leaders of the future.
