Physical activity has been a crucial part of my whole life. I have been involved in playing sports during my childhood all the way up to adulthood. When I wasn’t playing, I was helping those who did through umpiring, refereeing, coaching, and running a basketball league. Being active is imperative to a child’s physical, mental, and social well-being. It can instill essential life skills and promote a healthy lifestyle. I understand that everyone may not be athletic, but everyone can benefit from and participate in some type of physical activity.
