Hi everyone! My name is Caitlin Hernandez, and I will be teaching music this school year! I am so excited to be joining the Holy Cross family as a long-term substitute. I recently graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education! My background in music comes from years of participating in and leading different performing arts extracurriculars within my school (show/jazz choir, a capella, musical theater, Tri-M) and church (cantoring, music ministry team) communities. I love all things related to music, whether that's attending live concerts, singing karaoke, playing the piano, and even just listening to songs in the car! Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and hanging out with my friends and family.

I look forward to sharing my passion for music with students and helping them grow in their own talents as we spend the year exploring ways to meaningfully and creatively express ourselves through song and instrument!
