No Homework: We are finished with Homework for the rest of the year. Please make sure you catch up on any homework assignments your child has not completed yet. We are also finished with AR for the year. Please continue to read stories at home along with reading lists and sight words!
Prodigy:
Please encourage your child to play the online math game Prodigy at home during the month of May to help our school have a chance to win the Prodigy National Cup! There is only one week left in the competition! If you need your child’s username or password, please let me know.

Scholastic Book Orders:
This will be our last Scholastic Book Order of the school year! It is a wonderful opportunity to get some new books for your child to enjoy and practice reading over the summer. Please submit your online orders by May 21 using our class code: PBNRH. Thank you for supporting our classroom readers!
Coats and Jackets:
Please make sure your child brings a raincoat, sweat shirt or jacket with a hood on rainy and chilly days. We have to walk across campus everyday!

- Please take a moment to empty your child's daily folder

- 5/1 - Holy Cross Walkathon! Thank you to everyone who donated! Students should wear Walkathon shirts with gym shorts and any comfortable sneakers they want. Students may also bring in a beach towel or picnic blanket to sit outside for lunch! Pack lots of water!

Field Trip:
Students should wear their gym uniform with sneakers to school for our field trip. All students need to pack a disposable lunch in a brown or plastic Ziploc bag. No lunch boxes. We will be gone from 8:30am until 12:30pm. Thank you!

No Homework the week we return from Easter Break. Students WILL take home A.R. books. Please review some of the skills listed below that your child will be tested on for T3 Interims:
Date of Birth, Home Address, Phone Number,Recognizing all 26 Capital and Lowercase Letters, Recognizing Numbers to 40, Counting to 100, Tying Shoes, Sight Word Lists 1&2, Rhyming Words, Patterns, Forming Letters and Numbers Correctly

Easter Egg Hunt:
Kindergarten is planning to have an Easter/New Life Egg Hunt on Monday 4/13 when we return from Easter Break! We are asking for each child to bring in 12 filled plastic Easter Egg with an individually wrapped piece of candy or a small toy. We ask that you refrain from chocolate in case it is a warm day, we don't want it to melt. Please have the eggs turned into school before we leave for break by 4/1. Thanks!

Please start practicing tying shoes with your child at home! Kindergarten will be working towards this throughout Trimester 3. It is included in their report card grades as a fine motor skill standard.

Easter Eggs:
Each child needs 12 plastic Easter eggs for a Lenten project! Each child will need the eggs by 2/23 so we can begin the project on time!
